Coastal Escape

This Wilmington home was designed by William Poole designs and built for a young couple with two small boys looking to enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Located a short walk from the intra-coastal waterway, this home not only reflects the Salt Life but the Country Life as well.

The popular porch-wrapped farmhouse packs a lot of modern living into a 2553 sq. ft floor plan. The 4 bedroom 3 bath plan includes a two-story great room with a balcony hall leading to the upstairs bedrooms, an island kitchen with breakfast area, separate dining room, master suite and guestroom on the main floor, mud room/laundry between garage and kitchen, a storage room, and a large space for a recreation room over the garage.

Carolina on Our Mind ...

Dabbs Brothers LLC is proud to call North Carolina home. We feel that our state paints the perfect back drop for the communities we hold so dear. With offices in the Coastal and Sandhills regions of NC, our goal is to capture the nuances and design details of each region and create harmony with our surroundings. Whether it is a rustic farmhouse in the horse country of Southern Pines or a scenic ocean vista from a coastal cottage on Wrightsville Beach, we create homes that appeal to and compliment the natural beauty found in our great state.

The Sandhills market includes such towns as Southern Pines, Whispering Pines, Vass, Aberdeen and Pinehurst. The area is most famous as a world class golf destination, but is also recognized nationally for its equestrian facilities and down home southern charm. Popular architectural styles featured in this market include Log Homes, Craftsman, Contemporary, Colonial, Dutch Colonial, Ranch, Townhome, Cottage and Farmhouse.

The Coastal region of NC boasts some of the most scenic waterways, beaches and river front property in the entire United States. This market includes such coastal communities as Wrightsville Beach, Wilmington, Carolina Beach, Leland, Hampstead, Porter’s Neck, Holly Ridge, Landfall, Oak Island, Ocean Isle and many more. Common architectural styles include Cape Cod, Art Decco, Coastal Cottage, Contemporary, Mid-Century Modern, Modern and Craftsman.

Whether you decide to build golf-front, ocean-front or on the farm, we hope that you give Dabbs Brothers LLC a call to discuss how we can turn this beautiful canvas our state has provided us into the home that you have been dreaming of.
